Cannes IRC European Championship 2023 – 40 days to go!

The European IRC Championship is held in the Mediterranean every 2 years. The pandemic interrupted the rhythm, and no IRC European title has been awarded in the Mediterranean since San Remo in 2019. This is why, in association with the RORC, we have had a new trophy made which will reward the best.

As a key event of the international IRC season, the European IRC Championship is organized by Yacht Club de Cannes, the Pôle Course of the Yacht Club de France and the Royal Ocean Racing Club, with the support of a municipality used to receiving guests from all over the world during major events. As an internationally renowned hotspot, the Cannes region offers all the reception and logistics facilities, both for boats and their crews. All the necessary services and infrastructures, in particular maritime and port, are available on site and such as to meet the expectations of the most demanding crews.

The Cannes European IRC Championship 2023 aims to bring together more than 60 boats around a program of tactical and coastal races, as well as a long distance race; enough to satisfy tacticians and navigators on this complex sailing area.

The top local boats and crews have already registered – it’s time to join them and rub shoulders with the highest level!

Berths being limited in the marina, we invite you to register quickly for this Championship which promises to be exciting and festive.
