The IRC Rule is owned and managed by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) in the UK and l’Union Nationale de la Course au Large (UNCL) in France.
RORC and UNCL are jointly known as the IRC Rating Authority and control the policy, technical development and administrative aspects of the Rule, where all IRC certificates are issued by the rating offices:
